UAE Weather Forecast: Five Days of Rain, Fog and Dust Expected

The UAE is set to experience changeable weather over the coming days, with a chance of rainfall in several areas, dusty winds and possible morning fog.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast partly cloudy skies, with rain-bearing clouds potentially developing during the afternoon.

Temperatures could reach 42°C in inland areas, while coastal locations are expected to remain slightly cooler.

Residents should stay updated on local forecasts as conditions may vary across the Emirates.

Rain Expected in Eastern, Inland and Western Areas

Rainfall is possible through Thursday, October 22, as convective clouds develop over different parts of the country.

Eastern areas are among the locations that could receive showers, with clouds potentially extending towards inland and western regions between Monday and Wednesday.

On Thursday, the possibility of rain is expected to shift towards western areas. However, showers may remain localised, meaning rainfall is not guaranteed across every emirate.

Strong Winds Could Raise Dust and Reduce Visibility

Winds are expected to remain generally light to moderate, but they could strengthen during periods of cloud activity.

Speeds may reach around 50km/h on Tuesday and Wednesday, potentially lifting dust and reducing visibility in exposed areas.

These conditions may affect road users, particularly when travelling through open or inland locations.

Residents are advised to monitor official weather updates and take care when visibility deteriorates.

High Temperatures and Humid Mornings Continue

Despite the possibility of rain, temperatures will remain high in several parts of the UAE.

Inland areas could record highs of 42°C, while coastal areas and islands are expected to see temperatures between 34°C and 39°C.

Mountainous regions may experience cooler conditions, with temperatures ranging from 28°C to 33°C.

Higher humidity overnight and during early mornings could also lead to fog or mist in some coastal and inland locations, while sea conditions are expected to remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
