UAE Weather: Rain Expected in Several Areas as Temperatures Reach 40°C
Parts of the UAE could experience rainfall on Tuesday, October 27, as unsettled weather brings clouds and stronger winds to several regions.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, conditions are expected to range from fair to partly cloudy, with convective clouds potentially developing over northern, eastern and southern areas.
These clouds may bring scattered showers, while blowing dust could affect visibility in some locations.
Despite the possibility of rain, daytime temperatures are expected to remain high.
Residents are advised to follow official weather updates as conditions may vary across the country.
Rain Forecast for Several UAE Regions
The latest forecast indicates that northern, eastern and southern parts of the country could see cloud development accompanied by rainfall.
The showers may be localised, meaning some areas could receive rain while others remain dry.
Weather conditions are expected to remain changeable over the coming days, with further opportunities for rainfall through Saturday.
On Wednesday, clouds may bring showers to northern and eastern areas, while eastern and southern regions could experience rain on Thursday.
Additional rainfall is possible in eastern and northern areas towards the weekend.
Temperatures Could Reach 40°C
Although rain is possible, warm conditions will continue across much of the UAE.
Inland areas are forecast to record temperatures between 35°C and 40°C, while coastal locations and islands may experience highs of 33°C to 37°C.
Mountainous areas are expected to remain comparatively cooler, with temperatures ranging from 26°C to 32°C.
Winds will generally be light to moderate but may strengthen during cloud activity.
Gusts could reach 45 kilometres per hour inland, potentially lifting dust and sand and making outdoor conditions less comfortable.
Humidity, Fog and Dusty Winds May Affect Travel
Humidity is expected to increase overnight and into Wednesday morning in some coastal and inland locations, creating the possibility of fog or mist.
Reduced visibility may affect motorists during early-morning journeys, particularly in areas where fog develops.
Residents should check official forecasts before travelling and exercise caution on roads affected by dust or poor visibility.
Sea conditions are expected to range from slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea is forecast to remain slight.
With unsettled weather potentially continuing through Saturday, residents should monitor updates from the National Centre of Meteorology.
