Philippines E-Visa in Dubai: Fees, Processing Time and How to Apply
UAE residents from eligible nationalities can now apply for a Philippine electronic visa through an online system introduced by the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai on October 26, 2026.
The service aims to make travel arrangements more convenient by reducing the need for in-person visa applications.
Applicants can submit their details and supporting documents electronically through the official eVisaPH portal.
The facility covers eligible temporary visits for tourism, business, medical treatment, training and conferences.
The existing passport sticker visa service will continue alongside the digital option, giving eligible travellers an alternative way to apply.
Who Can Apply for the Philippines E-Visa?
The new system is designed primarily for passport holders from 37 countries whose nationals require a visa to enter the Philippines.
Eligible applicants may request single-entry or multiple-entry visas, depending on their travel requirements and the options available to their nationality.
The online process removes the usual requirement to visit a consulate in person, although visa officers may request additional documents or arrange an interview when necessary.
The e-visa is not valid for employment and cannot be extended or converted into another visa category.
Travellers should check their eligibility before starting an application.
Philippines E-Visa Fees and Processing Times
Applicants should plan ahead because processing times vary according to the visa type.
A single-entry application generally takes between seven and 12 working days, while multiple-entry applications can require 15 to 40 working days.
The listed fee is Dh260 for a single-entry visa, Dh420 for a six-month multiple-entry visa and Dh580 for a one-year multiple-entry visa.
The permitted length of stay depends on the applicant's nationality and visa conditions.
These timelines do not guarantee approval, so travellers should avoid making non-refundable arrangements before their visa is issued.
How to Apply and Prepare for Travel
Applicants can begin by visiting the official Philippine eVisa portal, completing the online form and uploading the required documents.
A passport must generally remain valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, and additional evidence such as travel bookings or financial documents may be requested.
Applicants should enter their names and passport details accurately to avoid processing delays.
After receiving an e-visa, travellers must complete the required eTravel registration within 72 hours before arrival.
An approved e-visa does not automatically guarantee entry, as the final decision rests with Philippine immigration authorities.
