UAE Forecast Warns of Wetter and Warmer Conditions in November 2026

UAE Expected to Experience Wetter and Warmer November

The United Arab Emirates could experience higher-than-average rainfall and temperatures during November 2026, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The seasonal outlook suggests that changing climate conditions may influence the country's weather throughout the coming months.

Rainfall levels are expected to remain near or above their usual averages, while temperatures could also stay higher than normal.

The forecast covers a wider period extending from November 2026 to March 2027.

These conditions may bring several periods of unsettled weather across different parts of the country.

El Niño Could Influence the UAE's Weather

The developing El Niño climate phenomenon is among the factors behind the latest seasonal outlook.

It occurs when sea surface temperatures become unusually warm across parts of the tropical Pacific Ocean, influencing weather patterns in different regions.

The NCM has indicated a 96 per cent probability of El Niño continuing between November 2026 and March 2027.

Its influence on the UAE could extend into April 2027.

However, the climate pattern does not automatically mean that heavy rainfall will occur across the country.

Rainfall May Vary Across Different Emirates

Meteorological conditions during November will depend on the movement of weather systems, moisture levels and atmospheric changes.

Some areas may receive rainfall while other locations experience relatively stable conditions.

The seasonal forecast indicates a possibility of above-average precipitation, but it cannot identify the exact dates or locations of individual showers.

Residents should therefore distinguish between long-term climate predictions and daily weather forecasts.

Official updates provide more precise information about expected rain, fog, wind and visibility.

Residents Advised to Follow Official Weather Updates

Alongside the possibility of increased rainfall, temperatures across the UAE may remain above seasonal averages during the coming months.

Residents are encouraged to follow regular weather bulletins before planning outdoor activities or travelling between emirates.

Motorists should pay attention to official alerts about reduced visibility and changing road conditions during unsettled weather.

The NCM continues to monitor regional and international climate developments to update its forecasts.

The coming weeks will provide a clearer picture of how these seasonal patterns affect the country.
