Abu Dhabi Hosts Its Biggest ADIPEC as AI Takes Centre Stage
Abu Dhabi has welcomed the global energy industry for the largest edition of ADIPEC, with artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as one of the main themes.
Running from November 2 to 5, 2026, the event is bringing together government officials, energy executives, investors and technology companies at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
More than 2,250 companies are participating, making this a major gathering for the international energy sector.
The event aims to encourage investment, strengthen partnerships and explore solutions for the changing energy landscape.
AI Becomes a Major Focus
Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in discussions about the future of energy.
ADIPEC 2026 features dedicated areas for AI and digital technologies, where companies are presenting innovations designed to improve efficiency and operational performance.
Demonstrations include applications in infrastructure monitoring, energy production, reservoir modelling and automated operations.
These developments highlight how digital tools can support more informed decisions and help energy businesses respond to growing demand.
Global Leaders Discuss Energy Security
The conference is also focusing on energy security, investment and the need for stronger infrastructure.
More than 380 sessions across its programmes are bringing together ministers, industry leaders and technical experts to discuss global challenges and opportunities.
Topics include natural gas, clean power, carbon management, industrial development and workforce skills.
With energy demand continuing to evolve, discussions are centred on building reliable supply networks and encouraging cooperation between countries and businesses.
Abu Dhabi Strengthens Its Global Energy Position
ADIPEC continues to provide an international platform for business connections and commercial partnerships.
The 2026 exhibition includes 30 country pavilions and 16 exhibition halls, showcasing technologies and services from across the energy value chain.
The previous edition generated an estimated $53 billion in business value through more than 49,000 deals.
This year's event further highlights Abu Dhabi's role in bringing together global expertise, investment and innovation to shape the future of energy.
