Dubai Flag Garden Returns with 11,000 UAE Flags for Flag Day 2026
Flag Garden Returns to Umm Suqeim Beach
Dubai's popular Flag Garden is returning to Umm Suqeim Beach as the UAE prepares to celebrate Flag Day on November 3, 2026.
The annual installation features more than 11,000 national flags arranged across the beach near the iconic Burj Al Arab.
Now in its 13th year, the attraction has become a familiar part of the country's national celebrations.
Visitors can explore the colourful display without paying an entry fee.
The installation is scheduled to remain open until January 2027.
Thousands of Flags Honour the Founding Fathers
This year's display uses more than 11,000 UAE flags to create portraits of the country's Founding Fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The design can be viewed more clearly from elevated viewing points overlooking the installation.
The arrangement changes each year, giving visitors a different visual experience.
The project celebrates the nation's history, unity and national identity.
Organisers are expected to share further details about this year's design.
A Popular Attraction During UAE National Celebrations
The Flag Garden has developed into one of Dubai's recognised seasonal attractions since its launch.
Its location beside Jumeirah Beach and the Burj Al Arab makes it popular among residents, tourists and photography enthusiasts.
Families and visitors can walk around the installation and enjoy views of the flags from different angles.
The display forms part of the wider national celebrations that begin with UAE Flag Day and continue towards Eid Al Etihad on December 2.
It offers the public an opportunity to celebrate the country's heritage in an outdoor setting.

The 2026 Flag Garden will open to visitors from Tuesday, November 3, and remain in place until January 2027.

The attraction is expected to draw families, tourists and photographers throughout the season.
