Want a real estate career? Dubai offers over 400 new Emirati job openings
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) is aiming to create more than 400 new employment opportunities for UAE nationals in the real estate sector through its latest recruitment initiative. The programme will also give jobseekers and university graduates the chance to attend on-the-spot interviews with leading real estate companies.
The initiative is part of the fourth edition of the Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment, which aims to strengthen Emirati participation in Dubai's growing property sector and create new career opportunities for local talent.
DLD Builds on 2,100 Employment Opportunities Created
The latest initiative will add more than 400 job opportunities to the 2,100 employment opportunities created by DLD over the past three years.
Between 2023 and 2026, the department worked with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai to support Emirati employment.
Majid Saqr Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at Dubai Land Department, highlighted the department's role in connecting academic institutions, strategic partners and businesses to provide better career opportunities for UAE nationals.
More Than 80 Real Estate Companies Participate
The fourth edition of Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment brought together more than 80 companies from across Dubai's real estate sector.
Held at the Address Sky View hotel, the event provided university students and jobseekers with opportunities to meet potential employers, understand job requirements and explore different career paths.
Participants also had the opportunity to learn about professional development and long-term career prospects within the property industry. On-the-spot interviews allowed candidates to connect directly with recruiters and explore available positions.
Dubai's Real Estate Sector Records Strong Growth in 2026
The employment initiative comes as Dubai's real estate market continues to expand.
During the first half of 2026, the total value of real estate transactions reached Dh111 billion, marking a 52 per cent increase compared with the same period in the previous year.
The emirate also completed 104 property projects in 2026, representing a 38.7 per cent increase compared with 2025.
This growth has contributed to rising demand for skilled professionals across property development, sales, management and other real estate-related services.
Real Estate Contributes to Dubai's Economic Growth
Dubai's real estate sector recorded 3.1 per cent year-on-year growth during the first quarter of 2026, generating approximately Dh26 billion in gross value added, according to the Dubai Media Office.
The sector accounted for 11.2 per cent of Dubai's gross domestic product during the same period, while the emirate's overall GDP grew by 2.4 per cent.
With continued investment and new property developments, the sector is creating opportunities for businesses and professionals across the emirate.
DLD Continues to Support Emirati Talent
Through its employment initiatives and partnerships with government organisations and private companies, Dubai Land Department aims to strengthen Emirati representation in the real estate industry.
The latest target of more than 400 additional jobs reflects the department's continued efforts to connect UAE nationals with employers and support long-term career development in one of Dubai's key economic sectors.
