Dubai's The View at Palm Jumeirah gets new glass ledges; tickets from Dh115

Visitors to Dubai can now step out over the skyline on glass ledges extending into the open air at The View Palm Jumeirah. The attraction has launched The Ledge at The View, a new experience that allows guests to venture beyond the observation deck and enjoy panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah and the city.

The Ledge Offers Stunning Views of Dubai

The new experience features eight glass ledges, each extending 1.5 metres beyond the observation deck. Four ledges face Palm Jumeirah’s distinctive fronds and crescent against the Arabian Gulf, while the other four offer views of Dubai’s skyline.

Visitors can look towards the horizon or gaze directly down through the transparent glass beneath their feet, making the experience an exciting option for adventure seekers and photography enthusiasts.

The views change throughout the day, from clear blue skies to golden sunsets and the illuminated cityscape after dark. Guests can also use the ledges to capture memorable photographs from above Dubai.

The View Palm Jumeirah Marks Five Years

The launch of The Ledge coincides with the fifth anniversary of The View Palm Jumeirah, which opened in 2021. Since then, the attraction has welcomed millions of visitors from 130 countries.

It has also become a popular location for special occasions, serving as the setting for 40 marriage proposals. More than 300 local and international professional photographers have chosen the attraction to capture Palm Jumeirah and Dubai from its elevated vantage point.

When it first opened, The View was promoted as the highest observation point on Palm Jumeirah, standing 240 metres above ground level.

The attraction is located at the top of the Palm Tower, a development by Nakheel connected to Nakheel Mall.

The Ledge at The View is now open and is included with general admission tickets.

Visitors can book their tickets through the official website, www.theviewpalm.ae.

Ticket prices start at:

Adults: Dh115

The experience gives residents and tourists another way to enjoy Dubai’s famous skyline and the distinctive landscape of Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai's Attractions Continue to Expand

The View Palm Jumeirah is part of Dubai Holding Entertainment (DHE), which operates several popular attractions, including Dubai Parks and Resorts, Ain Dubai and Global Village.

Dubai Parks and Resorts recently reopened after a six-month closure. According to DHE CEO Fernando Eiroa, the company used the downtime to accelerate planned improvements and introduce new experiences for visitors during the current season.

A total of 14 new attractions have been added to Riverland, including go-karts, bowling facilities and Lamborghini simulators.

New Waterpark and Global Village Attractions Planned

Dubai Holding Entertainment is also preparing to expand its portfolio with additional attractions.

A new waterpark is expected to open in Dubai in the coming months. Meanwhile, Global Village has announced several additions for its new season, including new pavilions, restaurants, concerts and a roller coaster named Tokyo Rush.

These developments reflect Dubai’s continued focus on expanding its leisure and entertainment offerings for residents and international tourists.

With the launch of The Ledge at The View, visitors can now experience Palm Jumeirah from a new perspective while enjoying one of Dubai’s most recognisable panoramic viewpoints.
