Dubai Tenants Can Now Manage Ejari and DEWA Payments Through DubaiNow

Dubai tenants can now handle important rental and utility procedures through a more connected digital service on the DubaiNow app.

The upgraded platform brings together key Ejari services, allowing users to register, renew and cancel tenancy contracts while also accessing related DEWA payment options.

The change is designed to reduce the need to use separate platforms for different housing requirements.

It also supports Dubai's wider efforts to make government services faster and more convenient for residents.

Ejari Services Available Through One App

Under the updated process, landlords can initiate a new tenancy contract or submit a renewal request through DubaiNow.

Tenants can then review the agreement, approve it and complete the electronic signing process using UAE PASS.

Once the required steps and payments are completed, the tenancy registration process can move forward digitally.

The app also supports tenancy contract cancellation, subject to the required approval from the other party.

DEWA Payments Become Part of the Digital Process

Another important feature is the connection with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

Tenants can access relevant DEWA payment options as part of the housing service journey, including payments linked to utility arrangements.

This integration aims to make moving into a rented property more straightforward by bringing rental documentation and utility-related steps closer together.

Users can also access DEWA bill payment and account services through DubaiNow.

Dubai Continues to Expand Digital Government Services

The upgraded service reflects Dubai's continued focus on improving the digital experience for residents and property owners.

By combining several housing-related procedures in one application, the initiative can reduce paperwork and make routine transactions easier to manage.

DubaiNow already provides access to hundreds of services from government and private entities.

The latest Ejari improvements further strengthen its role as a central platform for everyday services across the emirate.
