Dubai Studio City to Welcome Dh350 Million Luxury Hospital by 2029
Dubai is set to strengthen its healthcare infrastructure with a new Dh350 million luxury hospital planned for Dubai Studio City.
The upcoming Medcare Royal Hills Hospital is expected to open by 2029 through a partnership between Aster DM Healthcare and UAE-based engineering company MENASCO.
The 144-bed medical facility will focus on specialised and advanced healthcare services.
It will feature six operating theatres, modern diagnostic technology and specialised treatment departments.
The development marks another major step in Dubai's growing healthcare sector.
New Hospital to Feature Advanced Cancer Treatment
One of the hospital's key attractions will be its comprehensive cancer care centre, offering diagnosis and treatment services under one roof.
Planned facilities include PET-CT scanning, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and specialised breast care services.
The hospital will also provide medical, surgical and radiation oncology.
Advanced facilities such as a linear accelerator and gamma scanning technology are planned to support cancer treatment.
Bone marrow transplantation is also being considered as a future addition to its medical services.
Robotic Surgery and Specialised Medical Services
Medcare Royal Hills will also focus on cardiac care, neurology and advanced surgical procedures.
Its facilities will include a cardiac catheterisation laboratory and robotic-assisted surgery technology.
Patients will have access to several specialities, including paediatrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, neurosurgery and urology.
The hospital will also feature an emergency department with 18 observation beds, alongside intensive care facilities.
These services are designed to provide comprehensive medical support across different healthcare needs.
Water Birth Unit and Women's Healthcare Facilities
Women's healthcare will be another important part of the hospital, with a dedicated labour, delivery and recovery suite that includes a water birth unit.
The project will cover approximately 239,000 square feet of gross floor area, with a built-up area of around 430,000 square feet.
The development is part of Aster DM Healthcare's wider commitment to invest more than Dh1 billion in the UAE over the next five years.
The partnership aims to expand access to specialised medical services and strengthen Dubai's position as a leading healthcare destination.
