Dubai Basketball Complete Perfect EuroLeague Road Trip With Milan Victory

Dubai Basketball Secure Second Consecutive EuroLeague Away Win

Dubai Basketball continued their impressive European campaign with a 101–97 victory over Olimpia Milano in the EuroLeague regular season on Thursday.

The win marked their second consecutive away triumph after defeating Baskonia earlier in the week.

Playing at the Assago Forum in Italy, Dubai showed strong attacking quality against their experienced opponents.

Despite facing an early deficit, the team responded with confidence and determination.

The result completed a successful two-game road trip for the Dubai side.

Dwayne Bacon Leads Dubai’s Comeback

Olimpia Milano started strongly, using effective outside shooting and aggressive rebounding to build an 11-point advantage.

Dubai responded after a timeout, with Dwayne Bacon leading the charge through an outstanding scoring performance.

He collected 14 points in the opening quarter without missing a shot, helping his team take control.

Elie Okobo and Mfiondu Kabengele also made valuable contributions as Dubai strengthened their attacking momentum.

The visitors entered half-time with a seven-point lead.

Dubai Survive Milan’s Late Fightback

Dubai continued to dominate after the interval and extended their advantage to 15 points heading into the final quarter.

Bacon remained the team's leading scorer, while Kabengele and James Blossomgame provided important support.

However, Milano fought back strongly in the closing minutes, taking advantage of Dubai's mistakes to reduce the gap to just two points.

Bacon converted crucial free throws under pressure to protect Dubai's advantage.

He finished with a game-high 29 points, including six successful three-pointers from six attempts.

Dubai Basketball Look Ahead to Their Next Challenge

Kabengele contributed 18 points, while Blossomgame added 14 in an important team performance.

Head coach Xavi Pascual praised the team's work on both ends of the court but acknowledged that late mistakes allowed Milano back into the contest.

The victory strengthens Dubai Basketball's confidence as they continue their debut EuroLeague campaign.

The team will now return home to prepare for their next domestic competition fixture.

Dubai are scheduled to face SC Derby at Coca-Cola Arena on October 19 as they begin their ABA League title defence.
