UAE weather: Rain forecast, temperatures to drop to 38°C with humidity rises to 90%
Parts of the UAE could experience rainfall today as temperatures remain high, reaching 38°C in some areas. Humidity levels may climb to 90 per cent, increasing the possibility of fog and mist overnight and during Tuesday morning, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The weather department has forecast fair to partly cloudy conditions across the country, with convective clouds expected to develop over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon. These clouds could bring rainfall to some locations.
Low-Pressure Systems Bring Unsettled Weather
The NCM said the changing weather conditions are linked to an extension of a surface low-pressure system, accompanied by an upper-air low-pressure system.
Although November has begun, daytime temperatures will remain relatively warm across the country.
Expected temperature ranges include:
Inland areas: 35°C to 38°C
Coastal areas and islands: 33°C to 37°C
Mountain areas: 26°C to 32°C
Humidity May Reach 90 Per Cent
Humidity levels are expected to increase in several coastal and inland areas, potentially reaching 90 per cent.
The high humidity could lead to fog or mist formation late Monday night and during the early hours of Tuesday. Motorists are advised to remain cautious and follow weather updates, particularly during early morning travel.
Winds May Strengthen and Cause Blowing Dust
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, occasionally becoming stronger with cloud activity and potentially causing blowing dust.
Wind speeds are forecast to range between 10 and 25 km/h, with gusts reaching:
40 km/h in inland and mountainous areas
35 km/h along coastal areas
The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain slight.
UAE Weather Forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday
The NCM expects generally fair to partly cloudy conditions on Tuesday, with humidity continuing across the country. Fog or mist may develop overnight and during Wednesday morning.
Low clouds are forecast over eastern and northern areas on Wednesday and Thursday. Some coastal locations could also experience mist during the early morning hours.
Rain Chances May Return on Friday
The possibility of rainfall is expected to return on Friday, when convective clouds may develop over eastern parts of the UAE during the afternoon.
Winds could strengthen to 40 km/h, while sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea throughout the forecast period.
