UAE records lowest temperature of 16.9°C at RAK's Merbeh Mountain

Temperatures across the UAE continue to fall below 20°C, bringing cooler and more pleasant weather that is ideal for outdoor activities across the country.

Mebreh Mountain Records UAE’s Lowest Temperature

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 16.9°C at Mebreh Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah at 3am on Monday, October 26, 2026.

The latest reading follows an earlier drop below 20°C on September 28, when temperatures reached 18.6°C in Raknah, Al Ain.

The NCM forecast fair to partly cloudy conditions across the UAE on Monday. Some convective cloud formation may develop over northern and eastern areas, with the possibility of rainfall.

Residents can expect relatively cooler conditions, making the weather more suitable for outdoor plans as temperatures continue to ease.

Earlier this month, a UAE weather expert said temperatures were expected to become more moderate in the coming period as the country moves further into autumn.

The gradual decline in temperatures signals the seasonal transition towards cooler weather, offering residents more opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities across the UAE.
