Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum passes away, Dubai declares 10-day mourning

The Court of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Monday morning.

Following his passing, the Court announced a ten-day period of official mourning across Dubai, effective from Monday. During the mourning period, flags across the emirate will be flown at half-mast as a mark of respect and remembrance.

The announcement reflects the significance of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and honours his memory during this period of mourning.
