Indian Consulate in Dubai Expands Support for Indian Expats With Legal Aid and Health Camps

Indian Consulate in Dubai Expands Free Support for Expats

The Indian Consulate in Dubai has expanded its community outreach activities across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, offering free legal advice, health awareness programmes, environmental initiatives and opportunities for Indian expatriates to participate in community service.

The activities have been organised under two campaigns, Seva Pakhwada 2026 and Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which promote public service, social responsibility and community participation.

These initiatives aim to support Indian workers, families, students and other residents while encouraging health awareness, environmental conservation and stronger community connections across the UAE.

Free Legal Advice and Health Support for Indian Workers

On September 21, the consulate organised a free legal counselling camp for Indian nationals living in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The session provided guidance on cybercrime, banking and financial fraud, misuse of Emirates ID and other legal concerns.

A financial literacy and health awareness programme was also held at a labour accommodation in collaboration with TAK Group.

Workers received information about financial management, healthcare and consular assistance, including available helplines.

Another awareness session focused on the health risks associated with alcohol consumption.

Organised in collaboration with the All Kerala Medical Graduates Emirates group, the programme encouraged workers to make informed decisions about their health and lifestyle.

Tree Plantation Drives Promote a Greener UAE

Environmental conservation was another important part of the consulate's community outreach programme.

Consulate officials joined students in tree plantation activities at universities in Dubai, including Amity University Dubai and the University of Dubai, as well as other educational institutions.

Students and teachers in Sharjah also participated in tree planting activities at various schools, helping raise awareness about environmental protection among younger generations.

The consulate further supported cleanliness initiatives under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. Medical check-ups were arranged for cleaning workers in collaboration with the Emirates Ayurveda Graduates Association.

On October 2, officials paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary.

A tree plantation activity and cleanliness pledge were also organised in Ajman with members of the Indian community.

Blood Donation and Community Service Activities

The consulate's outreach programme also included fitness events, volunteering opportunities and community gatherings.

The Viksit Bharat Run 2026, organised at Zabeel Park in collaboration with the Indian People's Forum, attracted around 3,000 registrations.

Consulate officials also participated in Langar Seva at Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara in Dubai, volunteering to serve meals to community members.

A blood donation camp was organised at Sharjah Blood Bank with support from Ekta Sharjah and the Dawoodi Bohra Community.

The initiative encouraged residents to contribute to blood donation efforts that can help patients requiring transfusions.

Other activities focused on cultural participation, public service and cooperation between community organisations.

Indian Consulate Strengthens Expatriate Welfare Across the UAE

Through these initiatives, the Indian Consulate in Dubai is reaching out to different sections of the Indian expatriate community across the emirates.

Particular attention is being given to workers who may need legal guidance, health information or consular assistance.

The programmes also encourage residents to participate in environmental conservation, fitness activities and community welfare initiatives.

By organising events across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, the consulate is expanding its engagement beyond its offices and promoting a healthier, more active and socially responsible Indian community in the UAE.
