Dubai Opens Entries for the One Million Dollar AI Film Award

A Massive Prize for Creators

The 1 Billion Followers Summit just announced an incredible opportunity. They opened submissions for the second edition of their popular AI Film Award. One talented creator will walk away with a massive $1 million grand prize.

This unique competition invites filmmakers to tell meaningful stories using artificial intelligence. BytePlus and TikTok are officially supporting the event this year. They want to help creators reach much wider global audiences.

The summit will screen the finalist films in Dubai next January. Submissions officially close on November 20, so creators must act quickly. You must be at least 18 years old to enter the contest.

Strict Entry Requirements

Your original film must run between five and seven minutes. You must present it in a horizontal format at 1080p resolution. Any language is perfectly fine, provided you include accurate English subtitles.

There is one strict technical rule you must follow. You must generate at least 70 percent of the film using ByteDance’s AI model. You can use traditional editing tools for the remaining supporting elements.

Five Themes for Storytellers

The award covers five distinct themes, including climate change and human relationships. Judges will assess the creative integration of AI and the storytelling quality. The top five finalists will be revealed on December 25.
