Dubai Fountain Gets a New Look With Striking Silver Water Features

New Silver Structures Appear at Dubai Fountain

The iconic Dubai Fountain in Downtown Dubai is taking on a fresh appearance, with tall silver structures and new water features emerging from Burj Lake.

Videos shared on social media show reflective installations with curved, petal-like designs, creating a striking sight against the nearby Burj Khalifa.

Water streams flow from parts of the structures into the lake, adding another visual element to the attraction.

Installation work is still ongoing, with workers and equipment visible around the site.

The changes have attracted attention from residents and visitors curious about the fountain’s evolving appearance.

Work Continues as Part of Wider Improvements

Sections of the waterfront have been temporarily cordoned off while the installation work continues.

However, the fountain’s regular performances are still taking place, allowing visitors to enjoy its familiar displays of music, lights and dancing water.

The latest developments follow a wider renovation programme announced by developer Emaar.

The first phase included work on tiling, waterproofing and painting to improve the fountain’s condition and long-term reliability.

It has not yet been officially confirmed whether the new silver structures form part of the next phase of upgrades.

Dubai Fountain Remains a Major Downtown Attraction

Located on Burj Lake beside Dubai Mall and at the foot of Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain has been one of the emirate’s best-known attractions since opening in 2009.

Its choreographed performances combine powerful water jets, colourful lighting and music from different genres.

The fountain can send water soaring approximately 140 metres into the air, creating an impressive spectacle for crowds gathered along the waterfront.

Its location also makes it a popular stop for tourists exploring Downtown Dubai.

The latest installations could add another distinctive feature to the area’s well-known skyline.

What Visitors Can Expect

Visitors can continue to watch the fountain’s regular shows while work on the new installations progresses.

Evening performances are scheduled every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm, according to the published timetable.

Afternoon shows are also available on selected days.

Although the silver structures are clearly taking shape, details about their designer, final appearance and completion date have not been officially confirmed.

Visitors planning a trip should check the latest attraction updates before travelling.

The transformation adds fresh interest to one of Dubai’s most recognisable waterfront landmarks.
