Dubai Basketball Partners with Red Bull in Spectacular 303-Metre City Event

Dubai Basketball has announced a new partnership with Red Bull, naming the global energy drink brand as its Official Energy Drink Partner for the 2026-27 season.

The collaboration was revealed through a special event held 303 metres above Dubai, creating a memorable moment against the city's famous skyline.

The announcement highlights the club's growing ambitions and its efforts to strengthen its presence in the UAE sporting community.

The partnership will extend across the team's activities throughout the season.

Both organisations aim to bring fresh experiences to basketball supporters in Dubai.

Dubai Basketball and Red Bull Celebrate Partnership Above the City

The announcement featured Dubai Basketball players Dzanan Musa and Justin Anderson at the helipad of Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai, located in Al Wasl Tower.

The players participated in a special basketball demonstration that was presented as a record-setting high-altitude dunk.

The celebration also featured an impressive display of 600 illuminated drones forming the logos of both partners above the city.

The event brought together basketball, entertainment and technology.

It marked the beginning of a new collaboration between the two brands.

New Fan Activities and Community Basketball Initiatives Planned

The partnership will involve more than traditional sponsorship activities, with both organisations planning initiatives to encourage greater participation in basketball.

Community basketball spaces, interactive fan experiences and digital campaigns are among the activities expected during the season.

Supporters will also have opportunities to participate through online voting and exclusive content across the partners' platforms.

Red Bull branding will feature in the club's matchday and training environments.

These initiatives aim to connect more residents with the sport and strengthen the local basketball community.

Dubai Basketball Continues Its International Sporting Journey

The announcement comes as Dubai Basketball enters its third season, continuing to represent the UAE in major European competitions.

The club competes in both the EuroLeague and ABA League, helping increase Dubai's visibility in international basketball.

The partnership with Red Bull is expected to support the team's growing profile while creating new opportunities for supporters.

Both organisations share an interest in expanding the sport's reach beyond professional competitions.

Their collaboration aims to make basketball more accessible and engaging for fans across Dubai.
