A New French restaurant Named Chez Wam Coming to Dubai
When the team behind Tagomago, Twiggy By La Cantine, Mimi Kakushi and La Cantine Du Faubourg announce a new restaurant, you sit up and listen.
The latest venue to open soon by Rikas Group in partnership with chef Hadrien Villedieu is the modern French restaurant Chez Wam.
Named after the French slang phrase for “Chez Moi”, which means “At Mine”, the venue is inspired by the idea of being invited to a friend’s house for lunch or dinner. So we expect a cool and casual atmosphere with plenty of laid-back vibes.
Helming the kitchen is Chef Hadrien Villedieu (pronounced Adrien), who has spent many years working alongside some big-name chefs including Joël Robuchon, Alain Passard and Jean Pierre Vigato.
About Chez Wam
We are told that the new space will have immaculate vibes with specially-curated music played from vinyl records. Think chill-out rhythms and French disco beats that transition to more upbeat tunes throughout the night.
The food will be a celebration of the chef’s signature French-rooted cuisine, with flavours influenced by his travels.
The dishes promise to capture the contrast between Paris’s avant-garde techniques, the energy of Tokyo’s underground music scene, Morocco’s mystique, and the Mediterranean’s warmth.
