India not good enough against England

After being shunted aside in the third ODI match against England, Indian captain Virat Kohli his side not prepared for the World Cup which is slated to be held next year in England.
The Indian team faltered on all the three months in Leeds and never were in the competition against a rampant England side which cruised to a win without ever needing to break a sweat.
"Well, quite a few," Kohli explained during the post-match presentation in Leeds.
"That is what every side is looking for: they are looking for the best balance they can have possibly. All these sorts of series and these sort of losses will tell us exactly what we need to work on and the things we need to rectify come World Cup time," he further added.
This feeling was also what Sanjay Bangar had echoed after the drubbing in the second ODI at Lord’s. Bangar also said that they have around 15-16 matches before the World Cup next year to identify the flaws and rectify them.
"We have got 15-16 games. We have to get our act right and get the balance of the side really powerful and strong and make sure we are not over-reliant on one skill. [All] three skills have to come along together and have consistent performances and that is what we are striving for as a team," Bangar said.
Apart from Kohli, no other Indian batsmen got going and India fell well short of a competitive score in the end and the captain was honest in pointing that out.
"We were never on the mark as far as the runs on the board were concerned, we were 25-30 less," said Kohli. "England were really clinical with the ball, bat and the field as well. We were just not good enough."
After winning the T20I series and then surrendering the ODI leg, the two teams will now face off in a five-match Test series.
