Xbox Game Pass January Update: F1 23 and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank Added
The Xbox Game Pass has expanded its game offerings once again, this time introducing two new games, F1 23 and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, in its latest update on January 18. The first wave of expansion on January 11 welcomed Compulsion's unsettling first-person RPG We Happy Few and Metalhead Software's Super Mega Baseball 4 to the gaming subscription service. Notably, January 18 marked the introduction of the first day-one Xbox Game Pass game of 2024, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. Developed by Snoozy Kazoo, this quirky action-adventure serves as a sequel to the 2021 Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. With 'Overwhelmingly Positive' reviews on Steam, the sequel builds on the original formula by incorporating roguelite elements in a new and absurd setting, providing players with more opportunities for felonious activities.
In addition to this unique indie release, the latest update caters to racing enthusiasts with the inclusion of F1 23. Developed by Codemasters, this entry in the long-running sports series debuted in mid-June 2023 to positive reviews. F1 23 brings several novelties compared to its predecessor, including red flags, physics improvements, and the addition of the glamorous Las Vegas street circuit. Notably, F1 23 is part of the EA Play catalogue and is exclusively available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
As of 3 pm in the UAE on January 18, the two newly added games had yet to be integrated into the Xbox Game Pass subscription catalogue.
