In an instructional video posted on MoHRE’s official Instagram account, the conditions are as follows:

  1. Availability of electronic permits in the establishment.
  2. The recruited worker must be at least 18 years old.
  3. Compliance with relevant conditions in specialised professions.
  4. The worker’s profession must align with the establishment’s activity.
  5. The establishment must have a valid license.
  6. The recruitment request must be submitted by the legally authorized representative of the establishment, and a work permit must be obtained.
  7. There should not be an existing work permit for the worker to be recruited.

The ministry provides 12 different types of work permits for registered establishments, which are based on the specific type and nature of the job.

It is essential to obtain a permit from the Ministry before engaging in any work within the country.

Moreover, it is strictly prohibited to recruit or employ any worker without first acquiring a valid work permit.
