Cheers and applause broke out even as attendees scrambled to take their mobile phones out to click his photo.

The UAE Vice-President and his son, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, sat in on the session addressed by world-renowned life coach Tony Robbins.

"The UAE is a role model for motivating generations. We want to bring about positive change to the lives of people," Sheikh Mohammed said. "We start with this event with the aim to create a unique sector that focuses on events that fall in line with the UAE's spirit of achieving the unimaginable."

Hosted by the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), the motivational event saw star speakers share their inspirational stories and expertise.
