Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Chairman of Dubai's International Humanitarian City, expressed solidarity with the people of Libya during this tragic time. He emphasized the IHC's commitment to providing assistance to those impacted by the floods. This marks the third humanitarian response by the IHC in 2023, demonstrating its readiness to address emergency crises in the Middle East and North Africa region.

On Tuesday, the IHC dispatched a second aircraft to Benghazi, Libya, carrying approximately 100 tonnes of essential relief supplies. These items, sourced from the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the World Food Programme's United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD), include shelter materials, food, and telecommunications equipment. The swift deployment aims to alleviate the suffering of flood-affected individuals and communities in eastern Libya.
