In Dubai, a heartfelt plea has been made by a family offering a substantial Dh100,000 reward for the safe return of their beloved pet, Cuddles. This three-year-old cockapoo went missing in the Al Garhoud area on Saturday, after escaping from a pet relocation company's vehicle during a trip to a health inspection facility near the Emirates Airline headquarters. Despite the team's efforts to apprehend Cuddles, the furry companion managed to evade capture, leaving the family deeply distraught.

In a bid to locate their cherished pet, the family has embarked on an extensive search campaign, distributing flyers throughout the neighborhood. Their hope is that the generous reward will incentivize residents to assist in reuniting them with Cuddles. The most recent sighting of the missing cockapoo was reported at 6:40 pm on D27 Street (Community 214) in Al Garhoud on the day of its disappearance.

Despite their tireless efforts, the family's search for Cuddles has thus far been fruitless.

Speaking on behalf of the distressed pet owners, a spokesperson, who has chosen to remain anonymous, confirmed the authenticity of the Dh100,000 reward. They emphasized the profound emotional distress experienced by the family due to Cuddles' disappearance. The spokesperson stated, "Cuddles holds immense sentimental value for the family, and they are devastated by his absence. The Dh100,000 reward is genuine – we are desperate to be reunited with him. We have received numerous inquiries regarding the reward, and we want to assure everyone that it is sincere. Any assistance in locating Cuddles would be greatly appreciated."

It is noteworthy that the family has explicitly stated that no questions will be asked of anyone who returns Cuddles. This compassionate stance is reflected in the poster accompanying the reward announcement.

Interestingly, this is not the first instance of a pet named Cuddles going missing in Dubai. In November 2021, another pet named Cuddles, a 10-year-old Maltese, disappeared near the Umm Suqueim area, prompting its owner to offer a Dh1,000 reward. Fortunately, the previous Cuddles was found after 10 days, and the reward was duly claimed.
