The recent Industrialists Career Exhibition held in Abu Dhabi garnered significant attention, with hundreds of Emirati jobseekers eagerly vying for over 800 job opportunities offered by various industrial, technological, and service companies. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre), the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and ADNOC Group, the event aimed to empower local talent and provide employment opportunities as part of the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, which saw the provision of more than 500 jobs to Emiratis, the exhibition underscored the commitment of the UAE government to fostering economic growth and prosperity through the development and utilization of local talent. With a focus on creating job opportunities for nationals, the event facilitated on-the-spot job offers and training opportunities at some of the country's leading training centers. Additionally, it aimed to create 150 jobs for people of determination, further emphasizing inclusivity and diversity in the workforce.

Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the MoIAT, emphasized the exhibition's role as an integrated platform for connecting companies, training institutions, and Emirati jobseekers. He encouraged Emiratis to explore the wide range of job opportunities available and take advantage of training programs that open new avenues for development and career advancement. Al Suwaidi reiterated the UAE's commitment to becoming a global center for sustainable and advanced industries, highlighting the strategic importance of these sectors in contributing to the country's GDP.

Aligned with the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, Operation 300bn, and the National ICV Programme, the exhibition aimed to enhance the role of the private sector and national talent in the UAE's economic growth. Ghanam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of Nafis, emphasized the council's efforts in enabling Emiratis to develop their skills in line with international standards, thereby enhancing Emiratisation and economic sustainability.

Yaser Saeed Al Mazrouei, ADNOC Executive Director of People, Commercial, and Corporate Support, highlighted the importance of initiatives like the exhibition in empowering talented nationals and contributing to the advancement of the UAE's economic growth. ADNOC's dedication to bolstering the national economy and empowering Emirati talent through the ICV programme has resulted in the successful integration of over 11,500 Emirati talents into private sector roles within its supply chain.
