New Schengen visa rules for India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain
The European Commission has approved new Schengen visa regulations, offering multiple-entry permits for GCC and Indian nationals. Citizens of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman can now access long-term visas, easing travel to 25 EU countries within five years. Additionally, Indian travellers qualify for two-year visas, enhancing mobility and strengthening EU-India relations. The changes aim to promote people-to-people contacts and facilitate smoother travel experiences within the Schengen area.
