Jordan’s King Abdullah Commends UAE's Gaza Ceasefire Efforts

In a significant diplomatic gesture, King Abdullah of Jordan lauded the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its diplomatic endeavors aimed at securing a ceasefire in Gaza. The monarch also expressed gratitude for the UAE's generous provision of humanitarian aid to the beleaguered populace of the Palestinian enclave. During a meeting with Saqr Ghobash, the speaker of the UAE’s Federal National Council, held in Amman, King Abdullah stressed the imperative nature of a ceasefire and the continuous delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza. He urged for the protection of civilians in the conflict-ridden region. The enduring and robust bilateral relations between Jordan and the UAE were underscored by the king, who expressed eagerness to further fortify these ties, particularly at the parliamentary level. Ghobash reciprocated the sentiment, highlighting the close bonds between the two nations and acknowledging the unwavering support of Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and King Abdullah towards enhancing bilateral relations.
