Emirates Launches Recruitment Drive; Eligibility and Incentives Revealed
Emirates Airlines, based in Dubai, is gearing up for its fleet expansion over the next two years and has initiated a global recruitment drive to hire experienced Airbus staff. The airline is inviting applications from skilled commanders to join its Direct Entry Captains program for its Airbus A380 fleet.

This recruitment drive is part of a series of efforts by UAE airlines to meet the increasing demands of the travel industry after the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Emirates Aviation University had previously predicted a surge in hiring opportunities due to the shortage of skilled aviation staff.
The new recruits will be part of Emirates' 4,200-strong flight crew community, which includes 1,515 A380 pilots operating 260 aircraft. Emirates offers a range of benefits to its pilots, including spacious accommodation, education allowances, excellent healthcare coverage, and more.
Emirates will soon receive its fleet of A350s in mid-2024 and 777-9s in 2025, and it is actively preparing to build a strong team to operate these new aircraft.
