Emirates celebrates 30 glorious Years in Oman

Emirates announced the completion of 30 years in the Sultanate of Oman on Monday. The inaugural flight took off in 1993, since then, the airline has carried 4.8 million passengers to and from Oman on over 37,200 flights to and from 140 destinations.

The airline began its operation in Oman with Boeing 777-200 aircraft with a four weekly services. In 2019, the shortest A380 flight operated flying from Dubai to Muscat, the distance ranging 340 kilometers.

Emirates SkyCargo has also been a key facilitator for global trade and also supports Omani businesses by exporting local goods to Amman, Nairobi and Pakistan as well as, Europe, US and Japan.
