Emirates Group Transport Services received five prestigious awards at the recent Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents

Emirates Group Transport Services received five prestigious awards at the recent Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards ceremony held in Dubai, as per a statement by the Dubai-based carrier.

The awards included the gold award for health and safety performance, the gold award for leisure safety, the safety influencer of the year award, a highly commended award in the health and safety initiative, and the trophy award for best fleet safety in the Middle East.

Emirates Group Transport Services, part of Emirates Group, stood out among its peers by winning the gold award for health and safety performance in transport.

Emirates: Four consecutive years of Excellence

Roshan Menon, the Manager of Transport Services at Emirates, was recognised as the safety influencer of the year.

The Group also received a highly commended award in the health and safety initiative category for its extensive transport support and safety measures implemented during the challenging COVID-19 period.

The company’s commitment to ensuring the safety of its staff and passengers during the pandemic was recognized and applauded.

Lastly, the Group was presented with the trophy award for best fleet safety in the Middle East.

This esteemed honour reflects the company’s outstanding management of occupational road risk, demonstrating its dedication to ensuring the safety of its fleet and drivers.

Emirates operates a vast fleet of over a thousand vehicles in the UAE, facilitating transportation for passengers, cabin crew, flight deck personnel, and other employees. On average, the airline completes 2.5 million road trips per year.
