Dubai cancels all traffic violation fines incurred during unstable weather on April 16

In response to the recent heavy rains in Dubai on April 16, all traffic violation fines incurred during this period will be canceled. Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, made this announcement, reflecting the commitment of Dubai Police to community safety, especially during exceptional circumstances. This decision follows earlier initiatives approved by Dubai's Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan, to mitigate the impact of severe weather in the emirate. Similarly, Sharjah Police announced the waiver of fines for traffic violations during the record rains and offered free vehicle damage certificates for those affected by the unstable weather in the emirate.
