Japanese violinist Daishin Kashimoto graced the stage in Dubai on February 8, marking his inaugural appearance in the city. The esteemed musician, revered for his accolades including the First Prize at prestigious international violin competitions, took part in the InClassica International Music Festival, organized by SAMIT Event Group.

InClassica, held from February 1-15, showcased performances by eminent classical music luminaries, with Kashimoto joining a roster of distinguished maestros. Collaborating with Italian pianist Enrico Pace for two recitals, Kashimoto's second performance on February 10 featured the addition of Armenian cellist Alexander Chaushian, further enriching the musical experience.

In a candid discussion, Kashimoto shared his impressions of Dubai, his first visit to the city. He expressed admiration for Dubai's vibrancy and described it as an exciting destination, particularly enjoying the opportunity to explore with his children during his stay. He highlighted their longstanding camaraderie, particularly with Chaushian, with whom he shares a history of musical partnership dating back to their youth.

Discussing the repertoire presented in Dubai, Kashimoto described it as diverse and engaging, featuring compositions by Composer-in-Residence Alexey Shor.
