Meta has launched its Meta One subscription service in the UAE, providing extra features on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta AI.

The new plans are intended for individual users, content creators and businesses that want greater access to AI, customisation tools and professional features.

The monthly subscription rate is Dh5.99, and the more advanced plans include extra creative tools and business-oriented services.

Meta has made it clear that the basic experience in its various apps will continue to be free.

Meta One Subscription Plans Available in the UAE

The service now offers individual subscriptions, bundled packages as well as plans that are aimed at creators and businesses.

Meta says that over 50 features have been added on its various platforms, and the number of subscriptions and trials has gone beyond 15 million worldwide.

Individual App Subscription Prices

UAE users can choose separate subscription plans for specific applications:

  • WhatsApp Plus costs Dh5.99 per month.

  • Instagram Plus costs Dh7.99 per month.

  • Facebook Plus: seven point ninety-nine dirhams per month

  • WhatsApp Plus provides custom themes, icons, special sticker effects and the option to pin more chats.

  • Instagram Plus has features such as custom fonts for direct messages and Stories, and Facebook Plus offers additional customisation as well as features related to engagement.

Meta One Adds More AI and Creative Features

Meta One also provides package plans for those users who would like greater access to the AI-powered tools and features available across the company's applications.

Core and Premium Plans

The Core plan is priced at Dh22.99 each month and provides extra AI image and video generation, greater access to the creative tools and some of the features from the individual app subscriptions.

The Premium plan is £76.99 a month and includes all the features available in the Core plan plus enhanced access to Meta’s AI-driven creative tools.

Meta AI will still be available for free for everyday use.

New Tools for Creators and Businesses

Meta has also launched subscription plans designed for content creators and businesses that operate via social media platforms.

The Essential plan begins at Dh46.99 each month and comes with features including a verified badge, protection against impersonation and extra access to the Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp.

The Advanced plan begins at 119 dirhams per month and includes features such as scheduled Stories, the ability to include links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, and further business tools.

The Expert and Max higher-level plans cost 359 dirhams and 1,199 dirhams per month respectively and include additional features for teams and businesses which are managing their digital presence on a large scale.

What UAE Users Should Know Before Subscribing

The range of features available may vary depending on the application, account, and region.

It is advisable for users to check the plan details shown in their application before buying a subscription.

Meta states that its free services will keep going, whereas its paid plans are meant to offer more specialised features, additional AI usage, and professional tools for those who need more functionality.

The fact that Meta One is expanding signifies a broader strategy of providing optional paid services on some of the most popular social and messaging platforms, while still allowing people to access their basic features for free.
