Job Description:
We are hiring experienced and qualified ESL teachers to immediately join our team at Dubai International Academy, Emirates Hills. This is a full-time position and the selected candidate will be expected to start from February 2020.

Teachers must possess at least 2 years’ experience teaching ESL to secondary school students. Candidates must have English teaching qualification, CELTA, TESOL or TEFL. 

The candidate will be responsible for:
• Planning the secondary school ESL course. The course must be flexible enough to cater to the needs of ESL students joining our school at different points in the year. The candidate will need to liaise with the Heads of different departments to understand the language needs of each year level and incorporate them in the ESL course.

• Creating assessments that will be used by the school’s Admissions department to assess the English skills of students applying for a place in secondary school. 
• Plan and deliver lessons
• Prepare the ESL students for the standardized tests
• Conduct progress tests and assessments
• Communicate with Management  and parents
