Etihad Rail: Parkin, Q mobility to operate parking facilities in four stations

Passengers using Etihad Rail stations will have access to more convenient and efficient parking services following a new strategic partnership between Etihad Rail, Q Mobility and Parkin.

The agreement introduces smart parking management solutions across the Etihad Rail station network, making it easier for passengers to access parking facilities and make digital payments.

Parking Operations Divided Between Q Mobility and Parkin

Under the first phase of the partnership, Q Mobility will manage vehicle parking facilities at the Etihad Rail stations in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhaid and Fujairah.

Parkin, meanwhile, will operate the parking facilities at the Dubai station.

The three companies said the unified parking management system will provide passengers with secure and convenient parking services, including digital payment options.

Etihad Rail Network Expands

The partnership comes shortly after Etihad Rail expanded its passenger network with the opening of two additional stations.

On September 30, the network opened Al Yalayis station in Dubai and Sharjah’s first Etihad Rail station in Al Dhaid.

Sharjah is also set to welcome another Etihad Rail station in March 2027, further expanding passenger rail connectivity in the emirate.

Focus on Smart and Sustainable Mobility

Azza Alsuwaidi, Chief Operating Officer at Etihad Rail, said the partnership will improve access to stations through passenger-focused parking solutions and support better mobility as the rail network continues to grow.

Parkin CEO Mohamed Al Ali said the company will introduce digital solutions at Etihad Rail’s Dubai station to simplify parking access and payments while improving operational efficiency.

Q Mobility CEO Mohamed Husain Karmastaji said the companies aim to create an integrated parking management model across the station network and enhance the overall passenger experience.

Parking Available at All Etihad Rail Stations

Car parking is available at all Etihad Rail passenger stations. However, parking fees vary depending on the station, entry time and duration of parking.

Passengers do not need to purchase a parking ticket or make an advance reservation.
Etihad Rail has advised passengers to allow sufficient time to park their vehicles and reach the station before their scheduled train departure.

Parking facilities remain subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the respective parking provider.
