Domestic Worker Visited at Fujairah Hospital
As part of the visit, Al Hammoudi also went to Fujairah Hospital to check on the condition of the domestic worker involved in the incident.
He wished both the child and the domestic worker a quick and full recovery.
The visit reflects Fujairah Civil Defence’s continued efforts to stay connected with the community and follow up on humanitarian cases.
The department said such initiatives reinforce its role in protecting lives and property while maintaining close communication with residents.
Homeowners Urged to Secure Wells
Following the incident, Fujairah Civil Defence urged homeowners, farm owners and landowners to take necessary precautions to secure wells on their properties.
Authorities advised residents to ensure that wells are:
Properly and securely covered
Protected with clear barriers
Surrounded by appropriate warning signs
Kept inaccessible to children and other vulnerable individuals
Civil Defence warned that uncovered or inadequately protected wells can pose a serious danger to both children and adults.
Residents were urged to take preventive measures and regularly check the safety of wells and other potentially hazardous areas on their properties.
Community Safety Is a Shared Responsibility
Authorities stressed that preventing accidents requires cooperation from the entire community. Properly securing open wells can significantly reduce the risk of potentially life-threatening incidents.
Residents are encouraged to identify hazards around their homes, farms and properties and take timely action to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
