Abu Dhabi Pet Lovers Gathering opens at Al Shamkha Square

A free three-day Pet Lovers’ Gathering begins at Al Shamkha Square on Friday, 25 September, bringing adoption opportunities, pet registration and practical workshops together in one evening event. Visitors can attend from 5pm to 9pm each day through Sunday, 27 September.

Abu Dhabi City Municipality says the programme includes interactive activities, awareness workshops and entertainment shows. Pet owners can bring their animals, while people considering adoption can meet animals looking for homes and learn more about responsible care.

Registration services will also be available at the gathering. For owners who have been meaning to register a pet, the event offers a chance to do so during a visit. Workshops are designed to help visitors learn more about caring for animals.

The event is open to everyone and no advance registration is required to attend. Families and animal lovers can visit even if they do not own a pet.
