UAE weather: Partly cloudy skies with chance of rain in Dubai, Al Ain, Sharjah

The UAE is expected to experience fair to partly cloudy weather on Monday, October 12, with a chance of rainfall in some areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Convective clouds may develop over eastern and inland areas by the afternoon, potentially bringing rain to parts of the country.

Rain Forecast for Dubai, Sharjah and Al Ain

The NCM has forecast a chance of rainfall in Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain and some inland areas as clouds develop during the afternoon.

Residents are advised to stay updated on official weather forecasts, particularly if travelling through areas where rain or changing weather conditions may affect visibility.

Humidity is expected to increase overnight and on Tuesday morning across some western areas of the UAE.

These conditions may lead to the formation of fog or mist, potentially reducing visibility on roads during the early morning hours.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow official traffic and weather advisories.

Winds May Reach 45kmph

Light to moderate southwesterly to northeasterly winds are expected across the country. Winds may become strong at times, reaching speeds of 45kmph and causing blowing dust.

Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

UAE Temperature Forecast for October 12

Temperatures are expected to reach the following highs and lows in three major emirates:

Abu Dhabi: High of 39°C and low of 28°C
Dubai: High of 38°C and low of 28°C
Sharjah: High of 38°C and low of 26°C

Residents should prepare for warm daytime conditions and remain alert to possible rainfall, dusty winds and reduced visibility due to fog or mist.
