Tragic news hits devastated neighborhood as youngster dies in locked car 'He always had a smile about him and would firmly hold on to his mother's hand when she dropped him off for private tuition classes,' one mourning neighbor said.

Air India Express flight attendants return to duty, capping off second day of disruption

'I will miss them,' says UAE crew member Shareef AlRomaithi, reflecting on the 45-day mission spent apart from his daughters.

The boy was a cheerful, amiable child, according to his neighbors.

"Whenever we saw him, he always had a smile," said Muhammad Imran Sharif, a resident of Bu Tina. I still can't believe he left. I am utterly devastated.

Ariful Islam, who was the building's security guard when the boy had private lessons, is now in Bangladesh. However, he was informed of the terrible news by a local on Tuesday morning.

Tutoring sessions for the youngster would begin after Asr, or evening prayer. His smile was contagious. Islam predicted that upon his arrival, he would tightly grasp his mother's hand. When I heard about this, I was on my way to something important today. I canceled all of my plans and returned because I was taken aback.

News broke to Khaleej Times that the boy's parents had 'forgiven' the female driver. With no official complaint in hand, it is unclear whether the police will press charges against her.

Those familiar with the woman say she is inconsolable.

Without the proper documentation
Sharjah Police have stated that the driver did not possess the necessary license to transport students.

Numerous parents hired her to collect and drop off their children at school. She drove to each student's house on Monday morning and dropped them off close to the school. Everyone got out of the car except for the little boy.

The mother and her husband got into another vehicle and drove off, completely oblivious to the fact that the child was in it. According to the police, she returned to collect the students a few hours later and discovered the body of the young boy inside the car.

How much longer the lad stayed inside is unclear at this time. Highs of nearly 44°C were recorded on Monday, making it a very hot day. Inside a locked car parked in the sun, the temperature can rise to 60°C. The experts have already pointed out how dangerous it is to leave a child in a car when the temperature outside is so high.

Unlicensed vehicle hoist companies
Some parents choose to use unofficial car lift services because they are less expensive than official school buses. Unauthorized lift services came up multiple times in a fast search on social media forums geared toward parents.

Parents should not use unlicensed car lift services, according to the Sharjah Police, who have issued a warning and emphasized that licensed school buses have all necessary safety equipment. The police also mentioned that the appropriate authorities keep an eye on the drivers and attendants.

The UAE government has increased safety measures for school buses following reports of students being left behind. An Indian boy, aged six, lost his life in 2019 after being stuck in a school bus for hours. A similar tragedy occurred in Abu Dhabi in 2014 when a KG1 student perished while riding a bus that had been locked.
