A 44-year-old Indian guest, who had been lying in trance like state for a quarter of a year at Sharjah's Al Qassimi Hospital, will be repatriated to his old neighborhood in Kerala today. 

Salam Unnikkandath landed in the UAE on a visit visa with expectations of getting a new line of work and assuaging his family from neediness. Sadly, he slipped into a vegetative state following a coronary episode and an episode of pneumonia. His better half Seenath had gone along with him in Sharjah in August as the couple was intending to dispatch a nourishment conveyance business among the laborers' locale in Sharjah. 

Because of the intercession of the Consulate-General of India in Dubai and help from social laborer Naseer Vatanapally, Salam's Dh230,000 medical clinic bills were postponed off, and he is relied upon to fly back home to Kochi at 1pm tomorrow.

An upset Seenath revealed to Khaleej Times: "My significant other was an autorickshaw driver in Kerala and he came here on a visit visa in the desire for getting a new line of work. He got a new line of work as a truck driver, and we trusted every one of our issues would now be settled." 

She stated: "While occupation chasing, he used to prepare nourishment for a portion of his flat mates and companions. Perceiving his ability, they urged him to begin a little nourishment conveyance business."

As per an office official, Salam was admitted to Al Qassimi Hospital Sharjah on August 7 after brevity of breath and heart failure and was analyzed of pneumonia and ischemic coronary illness. 

"The case was brought to our notice by a network volunteer and with department's help, he is being moved to India tomorrow at 1.45pm from Dubai to Kochi by means of Air India in a stretcher ticket with medicinal attendant escort." 

Naseer Vatanappally, the social specialist who is taking care of the case, stated: "The case was alluded to me by his family members and we carried the issue to the consideration of the office. The office has given all the help to guarantee his prompt repatriation."
