Traveling to the UAE? Get a free eSIM with 10GB data
Arriving tourists in the UAE are being provided with the facility of getting a free instant eSIM of 10 GB data from the time they land in the country.
With the launch of e&, this eSIM can be easily activated on one’s own without any fuss by simply scanning a QR code and turning on facial recognition technology.
According to a statement from the largest provider of telecom services within the UAE, guests may use the 'Free Visitor Line eSIM' right after immigration clearance.
The no-cost version of this eSIM comes with 10GB of free data which is only for a 1 day duration, enabling visitors to get connected upon arrival. This means that they will be able to contact relatives and use basic needs as soon as their plane lands which will improve their overall experience. The eSIM enables clients to control their data usage without use of physical simcards.
This saves so much physical effort as there is no need to line up which is advantageous to millions of tourists who have come into the country. As per the latest statistics that have been advanced by Dubai Economic and Tourism authorities, last year Dubai only was over 17.15 million international visitors’ footprints. “There were 3.8 million international overnight arrivals in Abu Dhabi in 2023"
