The United Arab Emirates has spearheaded global relief operations in Gaza by providing over half of all humanitarian assistance. Operation Gallant Knight 3 enabled the UAE to deliver more than 60,000 tonnes of essential aid supplies to Gaza which included food provisions, shelter materials and medical resources.

The Relief Operations Coordinator for Gallant Knight 3 Hamoud Saeed Al Afari confirmed that the UAE maintains its commitment to support Gaza.

Al Afari reported that the UAE continues to lead global relief operations while maintaining its strong support for Gaza. He highlighted the UAE's substantial impact on humanitarian aid by disclosing that the country provides more than half of all international assistance delivered to Gaza.

Operation Gallant Knight 3 began with humanitarian aircraft loading 32 tonnes of food supplies at Ras Al Khaimah Airport before flying to El Arish International Airport. This operation provides support to needy people specifically during Ramadan.

Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Humanitarian Charity Organisation, explained the ongoing effort: Our organization is delivering food packages containing Ramadan essentials to aid our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

This air mission represents the third such delivery effort after two earlier air and sea shipments. The UAE will maintain its air and sea operations throughout Ramadan and beyond to deliver aid to the maximum number of people.

The UAE has set up a medical facility in Gaza with local Emirati medical personnel and volunteers while continuing their air and sea humanitarian efforts. The field hospital treated more than 50,489 patients while performing 1,228 surgical procedures. The UAE provides treatment for 1,000 children on its soil while simultaneously caring for another 1,000 cancer patients.

The UAE delivered support to Gaza by donating 17 ambulances and constructing nine bakeries while setting up 44 community kitchens to provide essential food supplies. The UAE built six desalination plants to deliver clean water to residents during the water crisis.
