Sonam Khan, the renowned actor of '80s and '90s films such as Tridev and Vishwatma, emphasizes that the term "comeback" is not negative. After becoming a star with the 1989 hit song Tirchi Topiwale from Tridev, she took a break from acting following her marriage to filmmaker Rajiv Rai, with whom she later divorced in 2016. Now, at 51, Sonam is eager to return to the industry, targeting the younger audience through web series.

Having appeared in over 35 films from 1987 to 1994, Sonam acknowledges that the current generation may not be familiar with her work. However, she is excited about the prospect of reaching out to them through the digital platform.

Sonam expresses her interest in doing OTT (Over-The-Top) content and has received several offers, considering them for her potential return. She embraces the idea of making a comeback and believes it's not a negative term, asserting that she was present before, is here now, and will always be a part of the industry. Sonam sees this as an opportunity to reintroduce herself and connect with both the new and existing audience.
