In a recent operation, Sharjah Police seized 11 vehicles whose drivers were found to be engaging in reckless driving and performing stunts amidst rainy conditions. The Traffic and Patrols Department at the Sharjah Police General Command reported that these vehicles were confiscated due to the perilous actions of their drivers, which not only endangered their own lives but also posed a threat to other motorists on the road.

Additionally, authorities revealed that 84 other vehicles were apprehended for violations related to congregating at the same location where these stunts were being performed. This concerted effort by law enforcement underscores the seriousness with which such dangerous behaviors are regarded and the commitment to ensuring public safety on the roads.

The Sharjah Police have repeatedly issued warnings to motorists regarding the consequences of reckless driving. Offenders face hefty fines amounting to Dh2,000 and accrue 23 black points on their driving record.
