Sharjah announces new paid parking hours for 7-day zones

The above mentioned paid parking hours apply to weekdays and any legal holiday. 

Sharjah’s new paid parking hours so citizens from the five-day working week can pay their dues even on the weekends for seven-day parking zones which were announced on Sunday October 27. These parking zones have been designated with blue parking information signs. 

In one of the letters responding to the revised timing letter, residents of Sharjah said that, “on November First motorists will begin paying for tickets from eight in the morning until midnight for the use of Sharjah Parks.” For a very long, provision of parking slots had been limited to 8 am Which was amended to 10 pm. 

The 16 hour paid parking zones will be readily available and active even during public holidays. We know that in Sharjah parking spaces are painted in blue and white with the tips addressed further with the relevant signs detailing the parking instructions and the parking fees.

According to a statement of the Sharjah City Municipality, it has increased the number of hours of paid parking on ‘blue zones’ where these fees are charged, the days when these zones are active being all 7 days including public holidays. This measure is meant to enhance the efficiency of the parked vehicles and the available spaces for parking.

The parking fee here is valid at all the unpaid and paid for parking beaches in Sharjah. In this emirate the parking tickets can be paid using SMS parking service for these tickets.

Following the previous text, rewards promised have now been replaced with effective parking subscriptions and, usually, parking space users choose this option, rather than paying parking fees. Users can select a personal plan for all of Sharjah or just for two particular zones and businesses could opt for either a comprehensive city parking option. Depending on the subscribed type, costs vary accordingly.
