Shahid Afridi shares a heartfelt poem on daughter's wedding
Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi recently shared a heartfelt message for his daughter, Ansha Afridi, who married Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi in a private nikah ceremony on February 3 this year.

Afridi, known for his grand celebrations, had organized an extravagant post-wedding ceremony after the Asia Cup to celebrate the union. He recently shared some pictures from this joyous event on his social media platform.
According to the invitation card, the couple is planning to hold their Walima (reception) in Islamabad on September 21. The event will take place at Serena Hotel in Islamabad and is scheduled to start at 9 pm. The mehendi ceremony took place at Shahid Afridi's residence, attended by close friends and family.
Recently, a video from the mehendi ceremony surfaced on social media, showing Shahid Afridi and Shaheen Afridi enjoying a delicious meal together. In the video, the father and son-in-law are seen engrossed in a deep conversation.
Shahid Afridi had announced his daughter's wedding with warm wishes, stating, "A daughter is the most beautiful flower of your garden because they blossom with great blessings. A daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with, and love with all your heart. As a parent, I gave my daughter's hand in Nikkah to Shaheen Afridi; congratulations to the two of them."
Following the wedding festivities, Shaheen Afridi will be focusing on preparing for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to begin on October 5. Pakistan's first match in the tournament is set against the Netherlands on October 6 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, India.
