This monumental success solidifies Shah Rukh Khan's reputation as the 'Baadshah of Bollywood.' It comes hot on the heels of his historic achievement with "Pathaan," directed by Siddharth Anand. Only two films in history have crossed the Rs10 billion mark in worldwide earnings: "Dangal" in 2016 and "Pathaan" in 2023.

"Dangal" remains the highest-grossing Hindi film ever, with a global theatrical run totaling Rs20.70 billion. It's worth noting that a significant portion of its earnings came from China, with its Indian gross at Rs5.35 billion. In contrast, "Pathaan" shattered records with the highest-ever India gross in Indian cinema history, amassing Rs6.57 billion.

Anil Sharma's "Gadar 2" follows closely with Rs6.10 billion, but "Jawan" has already surpassed that, boasting an India gross of over Rs5.30 billion.

As "Jawan" sets its sights on the coveted Rs10-billion club, it's a remarkable dual milestone for Shah Rukh Khan. Not only will he become the only Indian artist with two Rs10-billion grossers in a single year, but he'll also secure his position as the sole Bollywood actor achieving such monumental feats.
