President announces $40 million for species conservation fund

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently pledged $40 million to the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund (MBZ Fund), doubling its endowment. Established in 2009, the fund has supported conservation efforts across 170 countries, focusing on endangered species. Managed by Razan Al Mubarak, the fund aims to boost global conservation initiatives, highlighting the UAE's commitment to environmental preservation. With this substantial contribution, the fund can continue its vital work in protecting vulnerable species and supporting grassroots conservation programs worldwide.
