Lucy Stone, a radio presenter with Dance FM 97.8 in Dubai, has passed away.

The radio channel issued a statement regarding her death on their official Facebook page. They wrote: "It is with the deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our presenter Lucy Stone. She filled our airwaves with laughter and infectious energy that will be dearly missed by our loyal listeners and colleagues. Forever be in our hearts."

Earlier, another Dubai radio host had died at the age of 28. James Eli Aramouni, who was the host of the 'Drive Time' show on Dance FM, had passed away on January 13, 2019.

Aramouni's death prompted the station's broadcaster, Shock Middle East, to suspend all live shows at the time.

Releasing a statement on its website, Cameron Plant, Group MD, Shock Middle East, said James was a "much-loved member of the Shock Middle East family".

"We are devastated to hear of his passing. We will miss his creativity, energy and his contribution to Dance FM. We ask you to respect the privacy of his family during this difficult time."

"His warmth, humor, and humbleness will be dearly missed by his loyal listeners and those who worked with him," the statement read.

Born in the US, Aramouni made his radio debut after moving to Lebanon in 2016, presenting the breakfast show on one of Beirut's biggest radio stations.

He made the move to Dubai two years ago, taking over the Drive Time slot on Dance FM, where listeners tuned in to his show between 4 pm and 8 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Aramouni was a presenter with Dance FM for just over a year, after joining the team in October 2017.
